City Tours

It is most recent, since 2009 when Linz was Cultural Capital of Europe that the city is known by insiders for its cultural program. There are serveral ways of discovering the city:

During a walking tour you see the historical city center (Hauptplatz, Alter Markt, Schloss, Landhaus, etc.), but also a part of modern Linz, the so-called "Cultural Mile" which was important for the changing of the reputation of the city.

Your stay in Linz can be extended by:

• a bus tour to the modern quarters of Linz
• a drive-up on Pöstlingberg with a walk to the viewing platform (marvellous view over the city) and to the pilgrimage church
• a tour to the Abbey of St. Florian a few miles/kilometers away from Linz
